Third Eye
A self-hostable geospatial intelligence interface that brings multiple public data feeds into one analyst workspace.
Contribution
What ELI Labz contributed
ELI Labz is the repository owner and a primary contributor, with additional contributions recorded from ai-in-pm. The work demonstrates data fusion, geospatial interaction, and bounded Human review patterns.
Context
The operating problem
Analysts often switch between disconnected feeds for aviation, seismic, weather, cyber, news, sanctions, and other public intelligence. Third Eye consolidates those sources into a map-centered operating view.
Technical approach
How the system was shaped
- Used Next.js, TypeScript, and MapLibre GL for a GPU-rendered geospatial interface.
- Implemented progressive, viewport-aware loading across independently toggleable intelligence layers.
- Added self-hosting paths through Docker and a prebuilt container image.
- Documented an optional Smart System flow from ingestion and ontology through advisory models, Human review, and audit.
Demonstrated outcomes
What can be inspected
- The public repository includes runnable local, Docker, and prebuilt-image setup paths.
- The documented interface unifies multiple intelligence domains and a RECON toolkit in one codebase.
- The optional Smart System is explicitly feature-flagged, decision-support only, and Human-in-the-loop.

Claim boundaries
What this case study does not claim
- • Performance figures and data-layer counts are repository-stated capabilities, not independent benchmark results.
- • The public contribution history includes more than one contributor, so this page does not present the work as a solo build.
